Just a note on this, my package (lava-server) in jessie does not depend on gunicorn and any new dependency (as the preferred alternative to uwsgi) will actually only be done via jessie-backports and stretch, not jessie itself.
The offer to help with upgrading jessie still holds - however I do have the option of stipulating the dependency of gunicorn as greater than or equal to the version from jessie-backports. Therefore, once this bug is fixed, if there is a chance to update the existing backport, we can do "production" environments using the updated methods. -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.linux.codehelp.co.uk/
