Hello Charles. I know this bug is suspiciously similar to #780637, but in such bug it's clamed that cloud-init builds fine with sbuild.
So before mixing two completely different issues I decided to report this one as a different bug. If they happen to be the same after all, then both bugs should be serious, I guess. Thanks.
