Which is really a bug in libgpepimc0-dev,

$ cat /usr/lib/pkgconfig/libgpepimc.pc
prefix=/usr
exec_prefix=${prefix}
libdir=${exec_prefix}/lib
includedir=${prefix}/include

Name: libgpevtype
Description: GPE PIM Categories Library
Version: 0.5
Requires: glib-2.0
Requires.private: gtk+-2.0
Libs: -L${libdir} -lgpepimc
Cflags: -I${includedir}
$

The libgpepimc0-dev package therefore needs to depend on libglib2.0-dev.
