Package: src:openjpeg
Version: 1:1.5.2-3
Severity: important
src:openjpeg2 has been uploaded in Debian for while now. It is
available in stable (jessie) and it's functionalities are identical to
src:openjpeg (if not better).
It does not make sense to maintain two low level API for dealing with
JPEG 2000 with very close API. The concerns are:
- duplicate effort from a security point of view (CVEs),
- possible symbols conflicts as ABI has changed drastically from one
version to the other.
