This is apparently a regression in Boost 1.61. At least FreeOrion's upstream thinks so and there is already an open bug report for this issue on the Boost issue tracker. https://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/ticket/12349 Upstream bug report for FreeOrion: https://github.com/freeorion/freeorion/issues/777 I think this issue should be reassigned to src:boost1.61 but I'm just cloning the bug report for now to allow the Boost maintainer and others to get involved in the discussion.
