This looks like a bug in javahelper, it recently changed the
${java:Depends} substvar handling, which caused build failures and
javatools (0.58) was uploaded yesterday with a fix according to its
changelog:

   * jh_depends: Reverted the ${java:Depends} sorting added in 0.56
     due to build failures

I cannot reproduce the issue with the javahelper (0.58) in unstable, the
fix in javatools (0.58) seems to have done the trick.
