Hi all,

It would be nice if we can get lilypond 2.19.x series in experimental
than not having it at all.

I read the whole discussion and I would suggest Dr. Tobias Quathamer
if possible to atleast make an NMU targetting experimental and
share/give some sort of roadmap or timeline as to when 2.20 is
expected to be released so the maintainers and probably both the
release team and ftp-masters (who probably may have a say in the
above) would reply in the positive and also would result in less work
for the maintainers .

I did see couple of bugs fixed with respect to using guile-2.0 in the
unstable releases of lilypond

https://sourceforge.net/p/testlilyissues/issues/search/?q=guile-2.0

https://sourceforge.net/p/testlilyissues/issues/4110/
https://sourceforge.net/p/testlilyissues/issues/3972/

Curiously, is upstream still using sourceforge.net or have they moved
their development to github as I saw some GSOC projects having
presence on github

https://github.com/openlilylib

Looking forward to know.
