Package: darkice
Version: 1.2-0.2
Severity: grave

I can't use darkice at all. It's been a long time since i tried it
out, so maybe I am really rusty, but it just doesn't work here.

$ sudo darkice -v10 -c ~/.darkice.cfg

DarkIce: DarkIce.cpp:1273: can't open connector [0]

Here's the config file I am using:

# sample DarkIce configuration file, edit for your needs before using
# see the darkice.cfg man page for details

# this section describes general aspects of the live streaming session
[general]

There is a working icecast server there, I can talk to it with MPD and
