Elimar, My sound works, the problem I'm having is that after the latest upgrade (from 1.1.0-1 to 1.1.1-1), I can't control the volume from the command line using $ amixer -D pulse sset Master 5%+, getting the error that was the subject of the original bug report. It is still possible to control the levels from # alsamixer. Before the upgrade the above command ran fine (and was used by Xbindkeys to control levels using keyboard keys), but it seems like a change in one of the ALSA libraries broke it.
