It seems also to be dead-upstream: no visible activity since 2012. Additionally it Depends on soon to be removed libpng 1.2, which is planned to be removed soonish. I file this bug against faumachine to give the maintainer a (final) change to react; I will reassign this bug to ftp.debian.org in one week from now or when we file a RM bug for libpng1.2 (whatever is earlier).
