Hi git maintainers, I believe the version of git in wheezy-backports is affected by last week's security issues in #818318 (CVE-2016-2315 and CVE-2016-2324), as well as by CVE-2015-7545, since both of those were applied to the versions in wheezy and jessie.
Are you uploading patched versions to backports? Would it be helpful for me to prepare and test an upload to backports? (I'd need sponsorship, since I'm not a DD and also don't have a valid PGP key currently.) Thanks, -- Geoffrey Thomas geo...@hudson-trading.com
