Hi, Just to re-iterate the info I added in 817039 as it's kinda hidden by the merging process:
An alternate fix would be to remove the erroneous version check altogether as the version of python-dbus is managed by dpkg, making this check redundant. As to why I've upgraded this to grave: this failed assersion makes the main "volti" command fail on startup rendering the main part of the package, the systray icon, unusable.
