Also gitlab-workhorse cannot connect to /var/run/gitlab/sockets/gitlab.sockets because there is no such file. I have to check /etc/gitlab/unicorn.rb again to see sockets file is properly set. -- Sent from my Android device with K-9 Mail. Please excuse my brevity.
