Package: php5-intl
Severity: serious
Tags: d-i
Justification: fails to build from source (but built successfully in the past)
Dear Maintainer,
I tried to install php5-intl using `sudo apt-get install php5-intl` on a Ubuntu
14.04 server. Aptitude said, that php5-intl requires the package `libicu48`,
which it isn't able to locate (there ain't no intallation candidate).
I then tried to install `libicu-dev` which infact installs `libicu52`.
Unfortunately, that didn't help. I solved the problem on the server by
downloading `libicu48` from http://packages.ubuntu.com/de/precise/libicu48,
then installing it, using `dpkg`. After that the installation of `php5-intl`
worked as expected.
Hopefully the problem will be solved by updating the dependencies to
`libicu52`, but I have no idea, how to do and test that.
Thanks for looking into the issue (:

The system is not what you think it is:
jessie/sid => Debian testing/unstable from before the jessie (8.0) release
wily is Ubuntu 15.10
Ubuntu 14.04 would be trusty
precise is Ubuntu 12.04
Mixing Debian and Ubuntu is not supported.
Mixing Ubuntu releases is not supported.
You have got a weird mix of available package versions that don't fit together.
Your bug report went to the Debian BTS, we cannot help you there.
Please use the Ubuntu support channels for getting help on restoring
the system to a sane state (i.e. single distribution, single release).
Andreas
