Justification: renders package unusable

scaning with simple-scan got a message like "cannot retrieve image" or
"no valid scanner"
and then the program got to choose the scanner

in second try the program never start to scan and exit, in console
this its the dmesg output:

NOTE: in venenux or squeeze i recompile the sane and never got this
problem, only in wheeze and jeesie!

NOTE2: xsane works perfectly in wheeze and jeesie an dnever git this problem!

NOTE3: theres a reset of the port in "589572.965269" that maybe could
be a port usb problem: NO! xsane works well! and in same machine
venenux works well!

libsane-extras are installed and no third party firmware are need for
Cannon lite 100 in any
of my debian either jeesie or squeeze or venenux!
