Very sorry about the bug; it still affects a lot of people over on the CRAN/Ubuntu side eg in Travis. Build is scheduled but queued. I noticed on my normal systems the bug is less severe if you still have mktexlsr around -- but for the chroots it was lethal. :-/ Thanks again for the note / bug report. It is appreciated.
