I do not link to anything myself, this is the current version of an up to date Debian sid distribution, so this (was) a bug in the Debian packaging process or in the wget/curl compilation which linked to the wrong version of the library. Fixed after today update/upgrade You can set the bug status to fixed/closed from my point of view.
