Hi Zed, first of all thanks for the fix. I ran into that bug with systemd as well but just found out by accident what has been the cause. I installed your fixed version manually and it seems to work fine.
I would like to ask you to retry getting the fixed version into the stable-proposed-updates repository so that the stable release manager (re)check it. It is an important tool for server security but the current version in the stable release is just unusable unless you switch back to sysvinit or use the testing repository. Best regards Daniel
