severity 791964 serious quit I'm bumping the severity of this bug back to 'serious' because system upgrades have crashed my X session twice in one week.
I'm pretty sure one of these two times it was the systemd update to 228-1 that caused the problem; the other time (just now), I don't know what caused it. But I don't think it should matter. gdm needs to be coded so that *under no circumstances whatsoever* can a package upgrade cause the loss of an active login session. zw
