Package: gnome-gmail Version: 1.8.3-1 Severity: grave
The gnome-gmail package is broken in Jessie for a couple of reasons.First, IMAP authentication, which used for file attachments, now requires OAuth2 authentication. OAuth2 support was first added in 1.9-1. Second, access to configuration settings is broken for a fresh Jessie install. Version 1.8.3 still used GNOME 2's gconf for configuration data. Later versions of gnome-gmail, through at least 1.9.3, resolve these problems and retain compatibility with Jessie. -- "Le mieux est l'ennemi du bien" - Voltaire
