The problem here is that:
1. Lots of packages Depend on libfam0 (and libgamin0 Provides libfam0)
2. Package libgamin0 Depends on gamin
3. Packages gamin and fam conflict with each other
4. Installing fam removes gamin and libgamin0, so lots of packages
suddenly have unsatisfied dependencies.
Workaround:
Install libfam0 together with fam
Possible package fix:
The only thing I could do to help is to make fam Depend on libfam0.
Such a dependency is artificial in that fam does not really need
libfam0 to work, and I have not decided yet if making fam Depend on
libfam0 is a good idea.
For now I will downgrade this bug and merge it with #315591.
