It is not something under my control, so I have no idea.  I sent a patch
fixing all the problems I could find to the security team, and I am now
waiting for a review from them.  When (if?) they say yes, I will of
course upload ASAP.

I would suggest using the packages at http://volatile.debian.net/ - they
are the newest upstream tarball, with packaging and compilation designed
to ease the integration on a sarge install.
