Package: mysql-workbench
Version: 6.2.3+dfsg-7
Severity: serious
Justification: 2

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?

I tried to install the package

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

apt-get install mysql-workbench

Then I searched packages.debian.org for packages that provide the missing file

   * What was the outcome of this action?

Got the following output:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 mysql-workbench : Depends: libgdal.so.1-1.11.2
Recommends: mysql-utilities but it is not going to be
installed
Recommends: mysql-client but it is not going to be installed
or
                               virtual-mysql-client

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

Package should install

You are mixing suites and probably have some broken or outdated packages.

Mysql-workbench 6.2.3+dfsg-7 is from "stable" (aka Jessie) where libgdal is
version 1.10.1+dfsg-8.

Mysql-workbench 6.3.4+dfsg-1 is from tesating/unstable where libgdal is
1.11.2+dfsg-3.

Please install from matching suite and/or do "apt-get dist-upgrade".
Also instead of "apt-get" you can try "aptitude" as the latter may be better
in resolving complex dependencies. Remember to "apt-get update" before
installing.

I'm closing this bug report as invalid since mysql-workbench installs just
fine in "stable" and "unstable" suites.

Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you
have further comments please address them to 802...@bugs.debian.org,
and the maintainer will reopen the bug report if appropriate.
