Package: cl-hunchentoot Version: 1.2.34+dfsg-1 Severity: serious User: debian...@lists.debian.org Usertags: piuparts
Hi, during a test with piuparts I noticed your package fails to upgrade from 'lenny' via 'squeeze' and 'wheezy' and 'jessie' to 'stretch' It installed fine in 'lenny', and upgraded up to 'jessie' successfully, but then the upgrade to 'stretch' failed because it tries to overwrite other packages files without declaring a Breaks+Replaces relation. See policy 7.6 at https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-relationships.html#s-replaces >From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...): Preparing to unpack .../cl-hunchentoot_1.2.34+dfsg-1_all.deb ... Errors were encountered while processing: /var/cache/apt/archives/cl-hunchentoot_1.2.34+dfsg-1_all.deb The cl-hunchentoot package did not exist in squeeze, wheezy and jessie, but the old one from lenny may have survived these upgrades. cheers, Andreas
