Package: colord-sensor-argyll Version: 1.2.11-1 Severity: serious User: debian...@lists.debian.org Usertags: piuparts
Hi, during a test with piuparts I noticed your package fails to upgrade from 'jessie'. It installed fine in 'jessie', then the upgrade to 'stretch' fails because it tries to overwrite other packages files without declaring a Breaks+Replaces relation. See policy 7.6 at https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-relationships.html#s-replaces >From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...): Selecting previously unselected package colord-sensor-argyll. Preparing to unpack .../colord-sensor-argyll_1.2.11-1_amd64.deb ... Unpacking colord-sensor-argyll (1.2.11-1) ... dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/colord-sensor-argyll_1.2.11-1_amd64.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/colord-sensors/libcolord_sensor_argyll.so', which is also in package colord 1.2.1-1+b2 cheers, Andreas
