Hrm... it's an RC bug, with a straightforward fix, and you're listed in "Uploaders" which normally means you're allowed to make changes on your own -- does this really need more input before it can be fixed? :) FWIW, there's a good chance the bug will be NMUed by the time Ralf returns from vacation and gives you feedback anyway; I think it would certainly be simpler if you just did a maintainer upload, so that NMUers could focus on other packages that need the attention.
