That's just how Debian works -- the maintainer uploads binaries for one architecture (or sometimes none, now), and the buildds go off and build that package for the other architectures. I suspect you were just seeing mirror propogation delay, since the logs show that it eventually build for all supported architectures (https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=openafs&suite=wheezy) > And what about squeeze, which has a 3.2 kernel and openafs > 1.6.1-3+deb7u2~bpo60+1 in backports? Squeeze is no longer supported by the normal Debian channels; squeeze-lts is its own separate thing. I was approached and asked if I would be able to help patch the security issues for squeeze-lts, and I said I would try (implicitly, after wheezy itself got a fix), but I do not think there is even still a squeeze-backports to which to upload anything. In any case, I suspect that the .debs from wheezy will work just fine on a squeeze-backports system. -Ben
