That's just how Debian works -- the maintainer uploads binaries for one
architecture (or sometimes none, now), and the buildds go off and build
that package for the other architectures. I suspect you were just seeing
mirror propogation delay, since the logs show that it eventually build for
all supported architectures
(https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=openafs&suite=wheezy)

Squeeze is no longer supported by the normal Debian channels; squeeze-lts
is its own separate thing. I was approached and asked if I would be able
to help patch the security issues for squeeze-lts, and I said I would try
(implicitly, after wheezy itself got a fix), but I do not think there is
even still a squeeze-backports to which to upload anything. In any case,
I suspect that the .debs from wheezy will work just fine on a
squeeze-backports system.
