Hi,

roxterm.svg is a derivative of the "Etiquette" terminal icon described in its metadata. I've asked the original author for permission to change the licence to CC-BY 4.0, but in case he's no longer reachable at the address I found for him, I think I might be able to change the licence anyway. I've read a few things that imply CC 2.0 does allow derivative works to be distributed under later versions of the licence, but I don't understand the legalese in the official licence well enough to confirm that. For example <https://wiki.debian.org/DFSGLicenses> says, "In addition, the version 2.0 and 2.5 [of CC-BY-SA] are NOT transitively compatible because of clause 4b, since that only allows redistribution of *derivative works* under later versions of the license." Can you confirm whether I'm allowed to use a newer version of CC in this case, or should I ask debian-legal?
