Package: aptitude
Version: 0.7-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Hi.

Aptitude 0.7-1 depends upon:
libcwidget3v5
and
libsigc++-2.0-0c2a (>= 2.2.0)
(amongst others):

The former, however, depends on libsigc++-2.0-0v5 (>= 2.2.0)
which in turn conflicts libsigc++-2.0-0c2a, which aptitude
depends upon.

Thus installation of aptitude is impossible.

Cheers,
Chris

You are aware that Debian Unstable is in the midst of a huge
transition (libstdc++6) with many followup transitions and that
temporary uninstallabilities are very normal during such transitions?

The cwidget and libsigc++-2.0 followup transitions affect aptitude
most, see e.g.
https://release.debian.org/transitions/html/auto-libsigc++-2.0.html)

And 0.7-1+b1 (built from the same source) as already available at
http://incoming.debian.org/debian-buildd/pool/main/a/aptitude/ is
perfectly installable. Will be on the mirrors with the next push.

                Regards, Axel
