I think so, I wouldn't have submitted it else.  python-support is not
yet finished, you agreed to changes, which aren't documented besides
on #irc. IMO it's better to propose these changes first and agree on
them.  Other comments have been posted on debian-python as well.  It's
much more work to adjust / reupload packages, than reverting back to
the old dh_python for now and continue the development in
experimental.  At least another developer did express this opinion on
debian-python as well.
