Dear Rogério,
I would simply say go ahead with your plan. If you are able to resolve
the issues with a new release, then nothing like it. I am already
subscribed to the package in case a new one comes out :)
Although at my end, it is also ntfs which shows the same problem as
external usb-hdd.
