Package: postgres-xc-pltcl
Version: 1.1-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
We plan to drop alternatives for /usr/bin/tclsh from tcl8.5 (only the tcl
package will provide symlink /usr/bin/tclsh) before jessie release.
In your postgres-xc-pltcl package three scripts call /usr/bin/tclsh:
/usr/bin/pltcl_delmod, /usr/bin/pltcl_listmod and /usr/bin/pltcl_loadmod,
so they will stop working after the change in tcl8.5.
I see two ways of fixing this:
either replace /usr/bin/tclsh by /usr/bin/tclsh8.5 and use tcl8.5 in
dependencies,
or retain /usr/bin/tclsh and use simple tcl in tependencies.
In the latter case, please, test you script using tcl package from experimental,
as it pulls tcl8.6 package as a default (8.6 as a default is planned for jessie
too).
