Hi there. I've packaged the latest Bzr snapshot of gtk3-engines-unico, which should fix crashes with the current GTK 3. However, I doubt that the new package will make its way into Jessie, since its freeze and release have all passed. That said, it could be possible to prepare a backport <http://backports.debian.org/> to Jessie after it migrates to Stretch (testing).
If you're talking about any other engines, then I don't know - you'd want to talk to their maintainers directly.
