Package: botch
Version: 0.1-1
Severity: serious
botch just arrived in unstable but it is not fit to enter testing and
thus become part of the next stable release (Jessie):
- it handles build profiles but no packages in Jessie will contain build
profiles
- it is barely tested by anyone but its upstream author
We'd like to keep botch in unstable nevertheless so that tools like
rebootstrap or platforms like bootstrap.debian.net can make use of the
tools it provides and help making Jessie+1 bootstrappable.
The target for inclusion of botch into a Debian stable release is thus
Jessie+1.
cheers, josch
