Package: gnome-session-bin Version: 3.14.0-2 Severity: serious I clicked the desktop chooser at the bottom right hand corner to try and go to another desktop
The screen went light grey with a message in the middle telling me "Something went wrong" and with a log out button Instead of clicking this button, I pressed Alt-F1 and logged in as root on a text console and looked through my process table I saw this binary in the ps output: /usr/lib/gnome-session/gnome-session-failed --allow-logout I killed it and then went back to X and my desktop was still there, my windows still open, the "Something went wrong" thing gone. Therefore, I think this gnome-session-failed thing is unstable and I'm thinking about deleting it from the system so it won't happen again. I never saw this before updating to jessie -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
