Severity: serious

Hi,

during a test with piuparts I noticed your package fails to upgrade from
'wheezy'.
It installed fine in 'wheezy', then the upgrade to 'sid' fails
because it tries to overwrite other packages files without declaring a
Breaks+Replaces relation.

See policy 7.6 at
https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-relationships.html#s-replaces

>From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...):

  Selecting previously unselected package apt-config-auto-update.
  Unpacking apt-config-auto-update (from
.../apt-config-auto-update_1.0.0-2_all.deb) ...
  dpkg: error processing
/var/cache/apt/archives/apt-config-auto-update_1.0.0-2_all.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/etc/apt/apt.conf.d/20archive', which is also in
package update-notifier-common 0.99.3debian11
  Errors were encountered while processing:
   /var/cache/apt/archives/apt-config-auto-update_1.0.0-2_all.deb

update-notifier-common is not part of jessie, but may survive the
upgrade from wheezy to jessie, and apt-config-auto-update is not part of
jessie either, but to ensure smooth upgrades wheezy->jessie->stretch, it
needs to add
  Breaks+Replaces: update-notifier-common
This would also be needed for backporting it to jessie-backports at some
point.

cheers,

Andreas
