Severities are defined in <https://www.debian.org/Bugs/Developer#severities>. Unless you identify a policy directive that is violated, this does not qualify as 'serious'. It is also not 'important': the bug likely affects only one driver in particular configurations, so is not 'a major effect on the usability of a package' (for users in general - not just you).
