To complement my previous message, I have ran "hdparm -I /dev/sda" with the hdparm version from Jessie's repository.
According to this patch http://sourceforge.net/p/hdparm/patches/35/ that is supposedly included in Jessie's hdparm package, it should show an output about DevSlp when the device supports it, and in my case it doesn't show anything about it.
