Package: git-extras Version: 1.9.1-1 Severity: grave Tags: upstream Justification: causes non-serious data loss
Using fresh-branch command like: $ git fresh-branch new_branch nukes all the files, without a warning and confirmation, it directly runs "git clean -fdx". This causes a (non serious??) data loss, conflicts with the standard git clean behavior (which most git users would expect) and shouldn't be tolerated. Please either add a warning prompt or disable the command altogether. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: amd64 Kernel: Linux 3.14.33 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) Versions of packages git-extras depends on: ii git 1:2.1.4-2.1 git-extras recommends no packages. git-extras suggests no packages. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
