Package: liblapack3
Version: 3.5.0-4
Severity: grave

Updating liblapack3 fails with:

Setting up liblapack3 (3.5.0-4) ...
update-alternatives: error: alternative liblapack.so.3gf can't be slave of
liblapack.so.3: it is a master alternative
dpkg: error processing package liblapack3 (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2

The package used to provide liblapack.so.3gf as master alternative and
never removes it on upgrade. This might also need to break with other
providers of that alternative.

I guess it's because you upgraded from a pre-wheezy version of blas to
the version currently in jessie. You must have skipped the wheezy
version, which cleans up the old alternatives.

Skipping Debian releases is not supported when upgrading, hence closing.
