Christoph has written to the powerpc-buildd admins if they could investigate into this issue as a build on one of the porterboxes for powerpc was succesful with the same enviroment. A later rebuild on the host 'parry' was succesful. I assume the same will happen with to the new upload of version 31.4.0-2. We don't know the probably specific differences between 'powerpc-unicamp-01' (failed) and 'parry' (succesful), the only differences I see is a other processor (power7 on powerpc-unicamp-01 vs. LPAR on parry). So a real digging into the issue is simply impossible for us as Christoph and myself too don't enough around the powerpc architecture. We don't believe there is a real error within the build environment of the icedove sources, maybe we will reassign this bug to powe...@buildd.debian.org.
