no need for this. We asked Philipp from upstream how to fix this issue
right now and we found a solution. Unfortunately the changes from
Philipp will need some time to get into comm-esr31 and maybe will never
get into this ESR cycle.

Christoph is preparing a new upload of 31.4.0 and this issue will be
gone.
