As I read your report it is returning an error. Bug#770695 is about a hang during installation. Your problem reads to me like a completely different problem. > Setting up dovecot-core (1:2.2.13-11) ... > Job for dovecot.service failed. See 'systemctl status > dovecot.service' and 'journalctl -xn' for details. > invoke-rc.d: initscript dovecot, action "start" failed. > dpkg: error processing package dovecot-core (--configure): > subprocess installed post-installation script returned error > exit status 1 > dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of > dovecot-imapd: > dovecot-imapd depends on dovecot-core (= 1:2.2.13-11); however: > Package dovecot-core is not configured yet............. That exited with an error so seems like a completely different problem from the hang bug. It looks like a package upgrade problem preventing the daemon from starting. I suggest making a new bug report with these problem details so that it can be dealt with individually.
