Package: libdb5.3-java Version: 5.3.28-7~deb8u1 Severity: grave Justification: prevents package from being installed/upgraded
Unfortunately, there is another[1] bug in libdb5.3-java.maintscript which means that the package still can't be installed or, if an earlier version is present, can't be upgraded. The error message is: > dpkg-maintscript-helper: error: original symlink target is not an absolute > path So, the target argument to symlink_to_dir must be an absolute path, i.e. "/usr/share/doc/libdb5.3" instead of just "libdb5.3". See [2] for an explanation of why this was changed in dpkg 1.17.13.
