Package: src:libcwd
Version: 1.0.4-1
Severity: serious
Justification: fails to build from source (but built successfully in the past)
Dear Maintainer,
libcwd previously built properly from source on most archiectures, but now it
fails due to a function that "may not have default arguments." I was able to
reproduce this failure in a local unstable amd64 pbuilder. Here is the
applicable tail end of the log:
---------------------------------------
/bin/bash ./libtool --tag=CXX --mode=compile x86_64-linux-gnu-g++
-DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I./include -I./include -DCWDEBUG -g -c -o
libcwd_la-demangle3.lo `test -f 'demangle3.cc' || echo './'`demangle3.cc
libtool: compile: x86_64-linux-gnu-g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I./include -I./include
-DCWDEBUG -g -c demangle3.cc -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/libcwd_la-demangle3.o

bool member_function_pointer_qualifiers = false) const
^
Makefile:646: recipe for target 'libcwd_la-demangle3.lo' failed
---------------------------------------
This also occurred on all architectures in Ubuntu after applying an irrelevant
patch: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libcwd/1.0.4-1ubuntu1
Thanks,
Logan Rosen
