I upgraded dovecot-core together with dovecot-imapd running this command:

dpkg -i /var/cache/apt/archives/dovecot-core_1%3a2.2.13-10_amd64.deb
/var/cache/apt/archives/dovecot-imapd_1%3a2.2.13-10_amd64.deb
*********************
The new version 2.2.13-10 installs fine without any problem. (I don't use
and don't have installed dovecot-sieve)
