So lowering severity as it appears to be a problem with a single
instance and therefore likely to be a local problem, not a problem
with the package.

Plugins and extensions wouldn't be packages, necessarily. These could be
third-party downloads made within the browser. The list would be
available via the Preferences menu.

The list of libraries needed by the binary is obtained with:

$ objdump -p /usr/bin/midori

I've got no idea why you did anything with libneon27-gnutls. It is not
related.

There is some user configuration in ~/.config/midori/

The fact that this is only reproducible on a single machine points at a
problem of local configuration - with a browser, that's typically an
extension or plugin.

I can't tell you which commands to run as this is a problem specific to
your local machine.

There were no changes to the midori binary with the current version,
only to the debian packaging. It was simply a rebuild against updated
libraries in unstable. An out of date plugin or extension can easily
cause issues as it does not get updated at the same time. If the plugin
had been packaged, it would likely have been rebuilt regularly. Plugins
and extensions installed manually cannot be updated.
