Hello!

Recently, Microsoft changed the MSN_APPLICATION_ID that needs to be sent
to the MSN servers for a client to be able to retrieve the contact list.

As a result, the current version of Pidgin in Debian is no longer able
to log in to MSN anymore. Luckily, someone already figured out what
the updated MSN_APPLICATION_ID is and upstream has already merged the
change [1].

I suggest that we cherry-pick this patch and upload an updated Debian
package with the fix such that Jessie will have a version of Pidgin
which will allow users to log in to MSN.

Cheers,
Adrian
