Package: hdparm Version: 6.3-3 Severity: grave During boot I see errors in dmesg. I've done little investigation and found that is not problem with my hard drive, but only with hdparm which is starting by udev. Errors look like that and I find them only at start of udev: hda: dma_intr: status=0x58 { DriveReady SeekComplete DataRequest } ide: failed opcode was: unknown hda: set_drive_speed_status: status=0x58 { DriveReady SeekComplete DataRequest } ide: failed opcode was: unknown hda: dma_intr: status=0x58 { DriveReady SeekComplete DataRequest } ide: failed opcode was: unknown hda: set_drive_speed_status: status=0x58 { DriveReady SeekComplete DataRequest } ide: failed opcode was: unknown
When I comment out options of hdparm in /etc/hdparm.conf errors just disappeared. On newsgroups I have found post whith the same problem as mine - http://miniurl.org/1m2 (only in polish). But author wrote that he had lost his data. I didn't experience that problem.
