I think we already know the root cause of this build failure but it seems we disagree on the severity. Please take a look at https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=730893#10 for further explanations from the maintainer. The build apparently fails in the dh_auto_build-indep target. Obviously this cannot be an issue on the buildd because they only build arch dependent packages. The build log https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=oolite&suite=unstable shows that oolite currently builds on the official buildd. Since users can build oolite without any hassle and even the official buildd won't complain, I suggest to downgrade the severity. Markus
